I'm "torn" between the Torrentshell and the Marmot Minimalist. Obviously there's a pretty substantial price difference between the jackets. Does anyone own both jackets, and would he or she care to offer their opinions?

I do not own the Marmot piece but I have had the Torrentshell for a little over a year. I have been super impressed with it. It has a great fit and is longer in torso length then some. I haven't had any problems with it wetting out or anything and it breathes well. It isn't the lightest but it has been very durable.
