Is the fly on the back side of the tent full coverage? I can see the front isn't but you can buy the vestibule.

No, just an awning the both doodrs are waterproof I have never had issues in any weather with this system. You can buy the addtional vestibule that will give you this or look at the King Creek model from Big Agnes it has a full featured fly.
