I am wondering if 4 lbs is the actual packed trail weight. I intend on buying the footprint also, which, if anyone is wondering, weighs in at 8 oz.

Yeah, the weight is four lbs. Also it packs down really small if you need the extra space in your pack. Well worth it for backpacking.

Hey Ryan, Trail weight is indeed 4lbs. Packed weight w/o footprint is 4lb 10oz. Not too bad for $112.
