What is the width like on these? I have a wide forefoot, but a regular heel. I usually buy wide width shoes, though medium width shoes and boots with a nice big toe box are a better bet when available.
Specifically interested in the Lowas because of the polyurethane midsole. Sick of EVA midsoles going pancake on me after a few months.

I also have a wide fore foot and a heel that is more on the narrow side. These boots fit as well or better than any other boot I have, which includes Zamberlin, North Face and Asolo.

They seem to run fairly true to size (D width) with hiking sock, but they are also available in a wide for those with larger feet or major swelling.

Lowa's, while I don't have this model, tend to run a littler wider than other European boots - European boots almost always are smaller than American boots. The toe boxes are larger than most in my experience as well.
