The other gloves aren't actually windproof. Windproofing is rated on the number of cubic feet of air per minute (CFM) that could be pumped through the fabric. The others are rated to 20 CFM, whereas Windstopper (these ones) are 0. If you're going to be using them in a legitimately windy environment, these are the ones you want.
