I'm looking to but some Draws to start sport climbing and l'm between these and the Black Diamond Freewires (or both?) how do you guys like the handles on these? do you find them useful? Thanks!

@Hunter Lea: According the respective web sites the Grivel Plume quickdraw is 2.75oz while BD Freewire is 3.5oz so I am not sure what weight penalty you are referring to.

I don't know how many you've bought, but I would recommend 12 for sport routes. It's rare to have a route with more than 10 bolts, and then you have two draws left for anchors.

Kyle, Except for the added abrasion resistance the plastic handle offers, I think the thick sling on the Freewires work just as well as a solid handle in those "Oh-crap-help-me!" moments, without the added stiffness, bulk, and weight of the plastic sheaths. Happy trails!
