Thinking about getting this bag for a variety of seasons and it seems like a nice entry level down bag. However, how hot would this bag be during the summer? Is the heat issue as easy to address as opening the bag? Thanks for reading my rookie question.

15 deg bags tend to stay pretty warm, even a bit uncomfortable, during summer nights (more so in high humid areas). Opening the zipper helps, but as you cool off, you just want to cover back up until you get hot again. My recommendation is to purchase a bag liner. A liner will help keep the inside of your bag clean, they are nice for warm summer nights when the bag is too much, and they help you stay a bit warmer when your pushing the bag to its cold limit.
