Is the jacket really adjustable? I have looked on various websites including TNF's and I have seen this jacket in three stores. The website descriptions all say the hood and cuffs are adjustable yet when I have looked at the jacket in stores I can't find any way of adjusting it.

No! The cuffs, hood, and hem are all pre-cinched to save weight. The elastic does make it snug on all of those points, but it's elastic, so it stretches. All told, I like the fit of it, being a tall skinny guy, because all of the cinch points are tight. Of course, I only know personally how the men's version fits!
