So on the north face website it lists this vest with two hand pockets but on the picture it also shows an inside stow pocket with a zipper aswell? Does it have one ? Also are the hand pockets zippered? And which size is the 25 inch backlength based on ?

This vest has two hand pockets that zip closed. The left hand pocket is the 'stow pocket', and it can be stuffed down inside out into that pocket and then zipped closed. The 25 inch centerback is based on size medium. It has a performance fit, and will fit about 2 inches narrower in circumference than a TNF garment with standard fit. Hopefully this answers your questions.
