I am a 49 year old male, 5' 9" 240 lbs. skiing Pennsylvania hardpack. After a long hiatus from the sport (formerly an expert skier) my son has gotten me back on the mountain. Still skiing on skinny skis. Just broke the bindings on my K2 VO Slaloms and currently using my Dynastar Vertical Assualts, 203 cm. I always felt more comfortable on a longer ski and need help deciding what length is best for me with these shaped skis. Looking at the AC50's. Any input would be appreciated.

For Pennsylvania you maybe better off with AC 30. It just as strong of a ski with a narrower waist and lighter price. As far as length I'd suggest the 170. You could probably manage a longer length but your not going to lose stability by going shorter with this ski.
