Does the waist band stretch out over time? I'm deciding between a large and extra large, both of which fit and stay up, but I'm worried the extra large will stretch over time and not stay up as well.

Would agree with these two- never noticed any stretch and I've had mine for three years

Haven't had any issues with my stretching. The band is pretty wide so I reckon it'd take a lot of stretching action to ruin the band.

I have had these a couple of years now and the waist is still the same as it was when I bought them
