Anyone that is long toro'd using this pack? ~22" or so? 6'6" here...looking for long ski pack.

Unfortunately you're gonna want to go with a true "Tall" pack. Something like this: http://www.backcountry.com/arcteryx-arrakis-50-backpack-3057-3661cu-in Osprey packs in an XL max out at 22 inches for the torso.
