What is the age limit on this pack? Also I have a 5 year old that we would like to take on a weekend hike. What pack would be a good fit for her? Would this pack be a good choice for my 11 year old daughter?

It has more to do with size than age. The Kelty Tioga Junior has an adjustable torso range from between 9 & 14 inches. To find the torso length, measure your back along the spine from the the top point of your hipbones to the knobby bone at the base of your neck. This will give you a measurement in inches that will determine the correct pack size.
