Megan, This pack will most definitely hold your 3L camel back. It has an 11 Liter volume and is hydration compatible, and osprey is really good about labeling where things go (look for the H20 tab at the top of the bag. There should be a hole for feeding your camel back tube through). If it's like other osprey packs, it will have it's own compartment inside for the bladder itself. Happy trails!
