Seeing reviewers say it collapses easily, has anyone tried hanging it from a tree limb?? Wonder if that would solve the problem...

Scott Smith, We used buckets very similar to these (if not the same bucket)to carry and filter water with while base camping the last several summers. You're right, buckets that weren't hung from a tree or trailer hitch were inevitably knocked over. If you hang it, cover it with a bandana or some other cover tied to the handles, as you'll get a lot of debris if you don't. Happy trails!
