I started climbing regularly about a month ago and feel it's time I invested in a chalk bag. What's the best way to wear this - belt or clips? And would you recommend this one for me? I generally place priority on quality, ease of use, and size (I'm a relatively small female and hate carrying extra bulk). Thanks!

I really like wearing my chalkbag with a belt, which is easy to make with some cord, or can be bought. This is nice because you can easily choose exactly where it hangs, and you can wear it bouldering or training. The advantage of using a chalk bag with a carabiner is that it doesn't slide around your waist. This is a basic, inexpensive, functional chalk bag that would work well for anyone. Its a standard size which won't be excessively bulky. Relatedly, I'd put a good word in for the chalk sock, which gives a small, even coating of chalk. It also doesn't spill if knocked over. If you put a little powder chalk underneath the sock in your chalk bag, you get the best of both worlds. Get the refillable one. Hope that helps.
