hi. i'm looking for a jacket that i can also wear as a casual winter jacket. will this be warm enough without a fleece underneath?

You'd be warm enough with a hoody or something undeneath, but not a t-shirt in the winter. This jacket has quite low breathablity and waterproofness so I would actually recommend another jacket for snowboarding/skiing if you plan to ski alot in slushy weather and wet powder. If you keep in the slopes this jacket will be great. And In backcountry aswell, if its not too hot outside and the snow start melting.
