TSA doesn't have any restrictions on freeze dried food as long as it's factory sealed. Check it though to avoid hassles and delays with the x-ray machine. That said, Mountain House will ship by air, so there aren't usually any problems with air pressure changes rupturing the pouches. However, Mountain House won't ship internationally because some countries restrict all imports of meat, poultry, and produce, even freeze dried. You'll definitely want to see what's up with where you're specifically going before you commit.
