1) Is the hood removable?
2) Is there a drawcord at the waist and/or hem?
3) Comparing this jacket against The North Face Plasma Thermal Jacket and was wondering which has more synthetic insulation, and therefore warmer?

1) Hood is not removable 2) Yes there is a drawcord at the waist/hem 3) This is the one to go with.
