Why is the Revolution so much more than the other CW-X tights?
My wife and I are hiking into the Grand Canyon and back out with full packs and need the best CW-X product for the job. Our time to hike is mid-Feb, 2011, but thermal issues are not our 1st concern. Best support for 50-something thighs and knees, please!

Paul, Thanks for your question. The reason the Revolution tight from CWX is more than the other products they offer is the way the Revolution tight is built. The CWX support web in the Revolution is seemlessy built into the tight, while the web in the other tights is a sewn on panel construction. The Revolution is their top product for performance. If it is a bit too expensive for you, check out the Stabilyx family. There are both insulated and non insulated options there. The Stabilyx is also an outstanding product for muscle support and recovery. I hope this is helpful for you.
