I've been looking at getting a new tent for a while and through a friend of mine Im able to get a great deal on Mountain Hardwear gear. I live in Minnesota and was hoping to do some winter camping but wasnt sure if this tent would be up to the challenge. Any incite on how cold of temperature this tent can take while still being comfortable?

In January I camped in this tent when It was -6 degrees, tent worked flawless, had no issues with anything not working in the cold, had a 15 degree down bag with two pads and I slept comfortable !

This is a nice 3-season tent, but Minnesota in the winter? I don't think so. The mesh walls are for maximum ventilation which work great in the summer. I'd suggest a solid wall tent with fly for what you could expect during a Minnesota winter. I'm sending you a link to the MH Trango 2 which I feel would be much more adequate but, @ the same time, more $$ & heavier: http://www.mountainhardwear.com/Trango%E2%84%A2-2/OU9444,default,pd.html I hope this helps.
