Im 5'3 and 100 pounds would the 163 be a good size for me or are they a little to big?

Depends on how long you have been skiing and what you ski. With the dimensions you have given me 163 would be about right. The only reason i could see you going to a 171 is if you are a very good skier and can handle a 171. Thats the only reason i could see you going bigger than 163.
