It's not lined but does stop the wind very well. With a base layer it will keep you warm and dry except for extreme cold.

Hi Wendy, The Rain Shadow is designed to be a lightweight shell, and does not have a fleece or mesh liner. I would call it somewhat warm though since it fully blocks the wind, and if you layer a base layer or even a light fleece the Rain Shadow will keep you pretty warm. hope that helps!
