Yes, this light be directed at the ground. I have it for 3 years. and it is great. it bombproof, and you can use it in havey rain!

Yes it does tilt-but it doesn't seem to tilt enough. It just needs to tilt a little more to not be frustrating.

Yes, this light does have a pivot and can be angled towards the ground._____Or tilt your head
