I'm 5'5, 160 and med-large chested. I have the large in this and it fits well - a little loose, but that's good for layering beneath it. I would go for the large - and if you find it's just too big, Backcountry is fantastic about returns/exchanges!

well I am 160 pounds and 5'6" and got a medium. Although it fit, it was a bit short and snug (especially in the chest and I have an average sized chest). So, I would go with a large- but it depends on what look you're going for. A lot of women like form fitting clothing. I like my fleeces snug, but the medium just wasn't flattering on me. Given the shape of the pockets, when I bent over, it looked like I had a pot belly. Anyhow, I'm exchanging my medium for a large. I'll let you know how it goes. Good luck!
