Performance wise, how would these compare to a ski like the Volkl Mantra? Softer or about the same stiffness?

A lot softer and way more powder oriented. Then again with that comes more playfulness.

The Mantra is a much better all mountain ski, this is much more oriented to soft snow, big ol' rockered tip. I love it as an every day ski for Snowbird, but it might be a bit much in some locations

These are going to be a lot softer. The mantra will be better for everyday snow but these will be much better in the deep stuff.
