I had a shop mount my binding onto my legend 94, 178 cm and they are set back more than my Dynastar ski cross 178 cm. I was surprised to see this. Is it typical to mount binding back of center on the Legend 94? I would like more information on binding placement.

You will get more of a ski and allow you to go faster with more stability if you mount the ski back of the center line. It's a skiers choice. Sometimes I mount skis behind the center line and sometimes in front of the center line depending on what I want out of the ski.
