I'm 5'1, 118lbs. The sizing chart says I should get an XS, however my waist is borderline S/XS. If I get one size larger, will that affect the fit all that much?

I am 4'10" and about your same weight. I wear the XS. The S was a little big for me and I like my waist to fit up against my body. Honestly, the waist was where I noticed the most difference in the XS and S. I had to use the draw strings a lot more on then S than the XS. If in doubt, do what I did...order both sizes and see for yourself. Then send back the one that didn't fit and exchange it for the size that did. I think once you try these you will want 2 pairs...not just one!
