I have anti-shock poles and standard poles and to be honest I don't notice much of a difference after a hard day hiking.

Hey Todd, No, but if that's what you're looking for, you would need the BD Trail-Shock poles. I'll tell you though, these are pretty comfortable, and the "shock" when you plant them isn't exactly bone-jarring.
