I usually wear a 30 waist in boxers and jeans, should I get the small or the medium? I don't want them to be to small and squeeze but I also don't want them to be too loose and baggy.

I would guess a small did you check the sizing chart.

I vary between waist size 30.5 and 32 (5'10" 164 lbs) and I've always worn small. They are not constricting at all they are firm fitting but comfortable and keep your junk in place. This is all I wear.

go with the small, I think you would be swimming in it. You will love them.
