What is the best way of washing these merino wool shirts and what are the best laundry products for them?

i wash in cold, but i NEVER put any of my merino wool clothing in the dryer. i line dry it in the house. all my items have held up for years!

I have two of them and wash and dry mine with all my other laundry (front load washer with warm wash and cold rinse) and have noticed minimal fading and a MAYBE tiny amount of shrinkage. It's hard to tell, though. Since these are so thin, they don't act like wool usually does in the washer. It is still wonderful quality and MUCH easier to deal with than babying it with a different detergent, washing process, etc.

Hand wash with a wool detergent (Woolite or similar, I actually use bra detergent) and line or lay flat to dry. I own two of the women's and have washed them multiple times with no fading or shrinkage.
