A few comments on some of the board bag pages note how many customers are opting for +10-22cm than their board length for the extra room to stash jackets, pants, and other soft gear. The below comment seems to indicate that that extra length isn't necessary. I have a 154 board, and am always looking to save some cash on checked bags - could the 156 fit my board, bindings, boots, jacket/pants, and the rest of it? Or should I opt for a larger (maybe bulkier) bag?

I would go with the 156. I don't think it is necessary to upgrade 10 cm. The 156 is enough room. It is big enough to fit you board, bindings, boots, and outerwear. Go with the 156.
