Is this product ok for an 'Omni-Heat' equipped jacket?
('Omni-Heat' is Columbia's thermal reflective tech and is the inner liner that makes contact with your skin or layering)
This is also a down jacket so..
I need something that will maintain the DWR of the Omni-Heat lining to minimize sweat from soaking the down.
Not sure if "Down Proof" would compromise the breathability of the 'Omni-Heat' lining or if Softshell proof would be better.
Already fielded this question to Columbia and awaiting their input, but since 'Omni-Heat' is relatively new I'm not sure many folks are aware of the answer to this question.
Gotta start somewhere..

Hi Because of the fabrics of the "'Omni-Heat' equipped jacket" I think you need to use the "Softshell proof" for good weater proofing and good breathabilit

David, I would only use this on the outside of the Jacket not the Liner as It will comprimise breathability. With that said I would use the TX Direct Spray on on the outside. I hope this helps.
