Need a waterproof pad for sleeping outside in damp areas. Will this one work? It says water resistant... What can anyone tell me from their experience?

I've had no problem using it in damp areas. I'd take this or the insulated one depending on temperature and how much you want to spend.

You should be good to go with this pad. If its cold and damp I would recommend the insulated Aircore pad.
