Thinking about getting this jacket for my 16 yr old daughter... our winters average around 25-35 degrees - will this jacket be warm enough.

Barb, this fleece is not warm enough for those temps. Also, the wind cuts right through this jacket. You'd be better off with a wind stopper fabric.

Barb, not as a stand alone jacket. It works great under a shell in the temp range you listed.
