Hey im a Scout myself and this past summer i went on a high adventure trip the Maine High Adventure First off I want to let you know that high adventure is like nothing you have ever experienced before you WILL have a great no wait you WILL HAVE AN AWESOME TIME okay so back to the pack lol when i was on my high adventure trip we used external frames and very large packs so you will want to make sure that you get a pack that fits you and by this i mean DO NOT BUY A PACK ON THE INTERNET you must go to the store and try it on fist because on a 10 day trek having a pack that doesnt fit will be very painful and you will not be a happy camper so get a durable pack that fits you perfectly preferably 6000 cu in have a great time!
