That's the weight for one boot not a pair. They are light but not that light.

The Mtn and Performance shells weight virtually the same. The different inner boots make the weight difference. But it is only ounces more on the Mtn.

Just one boot..size 29.5 with no tongue in place weights in at 2 pounds and 11oz. on my postal scale. "Light but not that light." BC tech info's incorrect.

Owen, have you weighed a pair? That'd be a pretty shocking weight for a pair of ski boots, lighter than the lightest snowboard boots. This review confirms backcountry's misprint - http://coloradomountainschoolgearreview.blogspot.com/2010/02/dynafit-tlt-5-performance-carbon-boot.html

Well then the weight listed on the TLT 5 Mountain is wrong because I know that the mountain does not way twice as much as the Performance.
