Just bought a pair of Sorel Conquest boots. Do I need to put a waterproof ie. Sno-Seal, on them?

sno-seal is not a must but I used Kiwi Mink oil on mine, I do this with all my "waterproof" boots and apparel. Camp dry works well also, the oil and silicone helps to protect boots from rot and they seem to last longer. hope this helps.
