I have a 33"-34" Waist and wanted to know if I could get away with the medium or if i should go to the large...I want to be able to layer but also not have them hanging off me. Thanks

I am typically ~34" waist and ~34" inseam. Sounds like I would definetly go for the large. But what about length? I see they have TALL, SHORT and NOMINAL sizes?

I agree to go with the large. These pants are cut relaxed below the waist and in the legs, but are surprisingly trim around the waist itself. Luckily I am a medium (32") and they fit perfectly over a heavy first layer or two. But I think that 34 or above would be better with a large.

I have the same waist size and often find my self between sizes. Arcteryx's size medium fits me like my jeans. I'd size up, especially with the bibs. I am 5'11" and the Large/Regular fits perfectly with room for extra layers.

I am a 35 waist and the large is perfect! Medium would be way small!
