Will this binding work on last year's Burton Feelgood? A rep from my neighborhood shop told me that I can only use Burton bindings on my board... kinda lame!

That's not true. You just have to make sure that the bindings you get come with the 3-hole plates, not just 4-hole. Some newer bindings (like these) are also now coming with universal plates which will fit anything. http://www.k2snowboarding.com/technology/footbedMake sure the feel good does not have EST technology. I can not remember what boards had it last year and which did not. it should have 3 hole pattern compatible base plates. If the board is EST than you can only use burton EST's
