Well I guess it depends on what you're looking to do Vet... Obviously if you're looking to go touring, you'd probably want to go AT. Since you're looking at the Shaman, I'm guessing performance is more important to you than light weight. I'd go with a beefy AT binding from Marker. I have a pair of Marker Duke's and have always been satisfied. If you're sticking mostly to resort skiing, then save some extra weight and go Alpine. I have last years Shamans with a pair of Rossi FKS 180 bindings and LOVE them. Best alpine set up I've ever had. Hope this helps. Happy hunting and Deep snow!!! Ohhh... Another nice feature that the Shamans have that make them nice for touring is the narrowing/slightly pointed tip which allows for most skin clips to fit easily.
