I have a question about size. The plan is to use the jacket for winter running and biking. I seem to be in between small and medium. This small is very fitted yet I like the look better. The medium seems a bit too roomy yet practical. Any suggestions???

Get the small, you won't be wearing any bulky layers underneath this jacket, and it is made of a flexible fabric, so a snugger fit will suit you better. You'll be able to layer over it more easily that way as well. hope that helps
