More info needed about the fit, please.

I´m despirately looking for a downhill orientated dynafit compatible AT boot that could fit my super-wide forefoot, high arc and skinny heel. So far I have kind of limited the options to Mobe and Factor. In the end the fit counts over other features (as weight, price, walk mode etc.). I´m now starting to lean towards Mobe.
But that´s just me. What would be your recommendation?

PS: How is the heel pocket fit with Mobe? I´ve heard that Scarpa has typically much room there so it could be difficult to get a snug fit.

Hey Darkw, if you haven't already get the Mobe's see my above post I have a similar foot and the Scarpa worked really well. I still needed to do a little work on the Mobe but far less than I would have had to do on the Factor to fit my EE/EEE and super high arched foot in (the factor has a much lower instep area. Anyway so far all good. Much snugger than My Spirit 4's of the same size which did start to get a bit big in the heel, though I did a pretty good job of filling that up with some creative padding (former life as a boot fitter helps). Anyway I hope that helps.

I also had an issue with which boot to choose. My foot is wide as well. I chose the scarpa mobe. The intiution liner after being molded was perfect for my wide foot. Also the flex was more consistant than the BD. I highly recommend the Scarpa I have skied both and the Scarpa is overal the best touring and downhill specific boot between the two.

The Mobe is a good choice has a 104 last so good for your wide forefoot. and the intuition heat moldebale liners will accomodate your skinny heel and pretty much all of your foot . I would make sure you get these custom molded at a good Outdoor shop or Ski shop that specializes in boot fitting ..its worth the $
