we are moving to Rhode Island and my kids need a coat that will keep them dry and warm. The coldest temps in the winter are about 29F and wet, will this jacket do the trick?

this is a rain jacket, it does not have insulation. If you want to use this jacket as a winter coat you need to do it with proper layering.
