Ty. Do u know how the fits compare. The Patagonia says its Regular fit and the NF Catalyst says its Alpine fit? I tried on the Pat. and the best size fit is actually loose and am concern that the warmth will escape. Is it better with Down to have loose fit as some say or a closer fit?

Really depends how you want to wear the Down Sweater. I'm 6' 170 and large is like a casual hoody fit that I can throw a fleece underneath, while medium is pretty trim and I would only wear a base layer or shirt with it. If I'm going to wear a Down Sweater when it's really cold I actually like the bigger size since there's more waist coverage and length in the sleeves to keep the cold out. Haven't really had a problem losing heat due to it being too baggy unless I'm wearing a t-shirt. The tighter fit's definitely comfortable too and has good warmth when it's snug to the body. Hope that helps more than it confuses? I'm not super familiar with the Catalyst fit, tried to find one to try on but no one's stocking it near me currently. I do feel like the Down Sweater would be considered an Alpine Fit in the medium for me. (one last note too is I've heard the fabric on the catalyst is a little crunchy/noisy compared to the Down Sweater)
