How wide could you reasonably get on the 115 brakes by just bending the angle out (as opposed to the big project of taking the binding apart to reshape the brakes in a vice)? Obviously there's a limit, because angling them out will make them stick out when you're skiing. I'm shooting for 123.

I'm putting the fks 140 115mm binding on my bentchetler's and its a small bend. 4 mm on each side is nothing. There will be no problem. Last season i bent an 85 mm break to a 115 mm ski. I wouldn't reccomend doing that, but it worked so 8 mm bend won't be a problem.

Im putting my fks 18's 115 break on my Bent Chetlers which are 123 underfoot and although I would like to have a slighty wider break, putting them on a 123 won't be a problem at all.

Hey there, As a general rule of thumb I say not to go over about 6mm total (3mm on each side). So that would put you up to 121mm. However, I wouldn't be surprised if you could squeeze them over a 123 underfoot, I just wouldn't recommend it.
