I demoed the obsethed in colorado last year in a 179. Really enjoyed the ski. I am 5-11 195 lbs. Is this a good length for me.

189 might be better depending on your ability and how aggressively you ski. If you felt that the 179 was not stable enough for you go with the 189

It depends the type of skiing you will be doing with them and how much time you use them. I assume powder because they are powder skis. So i would think about getting a 189 for more surface area in powder but thats if you are good with riding a big ski but if you are a less aggressive powder skier i would get the 179 because of you height. Its all about preference. But with the dimensions you have given my about yourself i would go for the 179.
