I'm 5'6'' 135lbs, pretty slim. What size would be best for me? Also, would this make a good ski jacket?

Small should be great, especially because the sleeves don't cinch, and you don't want them hanging to far over your hands. I am 5'9" and the medium has room for some layering; however, the sleeves are around two to three inches too long.

It depends on how you like your jackets to fit. I am 5'9" 155 and I wear an XL. If you get what the sizing chart says then you'll end up with a euro fit. But if you like to rock it a bit baggy don't be afraid to go up 1 to 2 sizes.
