I'm climbing mt rainier next sept/august.I was there two years ago and used rented boots which I will never do again any suggestions on best boot for rainier in late summer timeframe thank you

contact RMI (Rainier Mountaineering)--google them. They are absolute experts on the mountain and can give you dead-on recommendations for the proper boot at the time of year you will be there.
