For motorcycle trips you want a true roll top waterproof duffle bag made out of PVC.

This bag is water resistant. Mine has stood up to moderate rain for brief periods of time. However if you are driving your motorcycle through a heavy storm or even a moderate storm for an extended period I would suspect that everything you had in this bag would get wet.
